I Respect Your Tax Dollars I’m running to make sure every cent of your taxes goes toward what actually supports student learning, not lawsuits, national political stunts, or outside consultants with a culture war agenda.
I’m Not a Career Politician - I’m a Parent As a mom of two kids in D49, I understand what families actually need from our schools, and it’s not more political theater. It’s qualified teachers, functioning special education programs, and safe, supportive learning environments.
Local Control Means Local Voices Unlike my opponent, I don’t take marching orders from national political groups or megachurches. I listen to parents, teachers, and students right here in District 49.
I Prioritize Individual Student Needs, Not Bureaucratic Agendas Every child is different. I believe in personalized support: especially for kids with IEPs, neurodiverse learners, and those who’ve been left behind in the system. That’s smart, compassionate governance.
I Believe in Accountability Over Ideology While my opponent focuses on ideological control, ie. banning books, restricting curriculum, etc. I focus on outcomes. Are kids learning? Are funds being spent wisely? Are parents getting answers?
I Support Transparent Budgets -No More Mystery Spending I will push for clear, line-item budgeting that shows taxpayers exactly where their money is going. No vague slush funds. No golden parachutes for failed administrators.
I Trust Parents, But I Also Trust Teachers I support a balance of parental rights and professional expertise. We need both to raise well-rounded, independent thinkers, not indoctrinated echo chambers.
I Defend Secular, Constitutional Public Schools I’ll uphold the separation of church and state… not because I’m anti-faith, but because I respect everyone’s right to freedom of belief without government interference.
I’m Not Backed by Dark Money Unlike my opponent, who has ties to national Christian nationalist funding networks, my campaign is fueled by everyday people who care about their kids- not culture wars.
I’m Here to Serve, Not to Grandstand I’m not using this role as a launchpad to higher office or to push a national agenda. I’m here to make sure our local schools serve local families, efficiently, effectively, and equitably.
